The Natalya skater dresses available in red and navy are easy to wear and can be layered with leggings, dressed up or down.  The sleeves have a cute triple layer ruffle and the bodice is fitted, flaring out into a really twirly skirt.

This Carmen flamenco T-shirt, see here in red, and also available in grey marl, is such a pretty top.  Carmen is made form cotton jersey with lycra for a good slim fit, the sleeves have a small puff at the shoulder and feature the same ruffles as the skater dress.  Great with either the Millie shorts seen below or the Summer skort.

The Hatley boys pyjamas range is already selling fast, so today we have placed a re-order and also got some more styles coming to increase the options within the range. Although it does still feel pretty wintry there are definite signs that Spring is on its way…there are buds on the trees and the evenings are getting lighter. Before we know it, rain or shine, we will be feeling the need to blow those cobwebs away and head out for some fresh air.  For some, the urge for true isolation and solitude, for others economic factors and for many the sheer enjoyment of eating alfresco will result in the humble picnic being the choice of sustenance for the outing.

Now whatever your choice for picnic fair, be it sandwiches, pizza, pastries or crudites, we believe that the question of what to package it in should deserve equal consideration. For too long the ease and convenience of cling film and tin foil has led to them being the most popular options.  The quantities of these disposable materials that are thrown away and awareness of our ever-increasing landfill problem has long been a pet concern of mine. I was not however completely satisfied with using plastic containers as an alternative. We constantly had ‘divorces’ between lids and bottoms and sometimes the children couldn’t even open them, not to mention the storage issue! I also had concerns about the toxins in some plastics used.
